Traditionally, connecting a number to enterprise software or a chatbot meant giving up the WhatsApp Business mobile app entirely. WhatsApp Coexistence, an official Meta integration feature, closes that gap — letting a business run the standard WhatsApp Business app and the WhatsApp Business/Cloud API on the exact same phone number, at the same time.
What You Need to Join
Just a Facebook account and an active WhatsApp Business number already set up in the WhatsApp Business app. Onboarding uses a QR code or code pairing to link the number, rather than a fresh SMS verification.
