WhatsApp Survey Mode

Survey Mode automates public or gated data collection directly inside WhatsApp, compiling answers in real time into exportable reports — no separate survey app or link needed.

Setup Format

Surveys run off a public Google Sheet formatted with columns for the question and up to five multiple-choice options (Q, A1–A5). Keep answers under 20 characters and avoid open-ended text fields. Configuration is entered into the dashboard as SHEET_ID,GID.

Open vs Gated Surveys

• All People Mode (open): Triggered when you use just the Sheet ID, or a GID of 0. Anyone messaging the bot can participate.
• Controlled Mode (gated): Triggered when the GID is anything other than zero. That tab acts as a real-time whitelist — unlisted numbers are rejected, verified numbers proceed.

Getting Your Results

Results compile on the server in real time. When you're ready to review them, export a raw .csv of every answer plus an AI-analyzed .txt report summarizing the qualitative and quantitative findings.

Who Uses This

Research organizations, NGOs, and political campaigns use Survey Mode for constituent feedback and structured public data collection, since it needs no app download from respondents — just a WhatsApp message.
